Are the tyres tubeless ready?
These tyres are tubeless ready but the wheels will need to be prepared to become tubeless as delivering a new bike without an innertube can damage the tyres.
Are tubeless valves and tape provided with the bike?
Not with this bike, but if you're looking to make the switch the wheelsets are able to be upgrades with a kit from some of our aftermarket suppliers on our website
What groupset is this bike equipped with?
The entry level bend comes with a Shimano's 2x9spd Claris groupset and the Premium bend series is using a 1x11spd GRX groupset
What brakes is this bike equipped with?
Disc brakes have become a must on the modern road bike. Offering strong and reliable braking performance in any condition. When you are flying down your local descent you want to know your brakes are going to pull you up on time. The Bend series offers models with both mechanic disc brakes, offering great power for the price, and higher level hydraulic brakes providing power whenever you need it.
Does this bike come in any other colours?
Each season there are new colourways offered throughout the range. Unfortunately getting the right colour for you in the spec you are looking for isn't always possible because the colourway is season dependent for each specific model in the range.
Does this bike come with any other specs?
There's a few different models in the Bend platform that offer different types of riding experiences based on how they are set up, whether that's with a flat handlebar for nipping around city streets or a drop bar with racks to allow you to do some touring in comfort.
What's the bikes' frame material?
The frame utilises a hydroformed aluminium with smooth welded seams for great value with premium aesthetics.
What's the bikes' fork material?
Tapered carbon fibre for superb stiffness where required and lightweight where it counts. With mounting points available for carriers and fenders

Does this bike come with thru axles or QR skewers?
12mm thru axles are fitted front and rear making wheel re-alignment a breeze. Drop them in and put hte axle through and everything should line up.
What is the weight of this bike?
When you are asking for a bike to be able to conquer gravel paths of the Australian outback there needs to be some durability built into the specification of the bike to make sure it does it job time and again. The frame is from a high quality lightweight aluminium but the components are built to last and do their job no matter what's thrown at the bent so the weight becomes less of an important factor at 12.64kg.
What's the supplied tyre width?
When you're looking to do some exploring the term bigger is better applied to tyres. That's why this bike has 650x47c to offer great comfort and agility over the rough stuff.
Does this bike come with pedals?
There will be a set of flat pedals included with the bike to make you have something to push down when you get your shiny new bike out of the box. Many customers have a personal preference for pedals though so it is quite common to change them or even go to a clip-in style of pedal.
Can I fit more than one bottle cage in this frame?
This model has a couple of mounts available for a bottle cage or another storage solution. Keeping you hydrated and allowing access to spares if needed. With additional mounts all over the frame and fork to strap on any number of portage accessories
What tyre pressure should I run?
There are options to run the bike tubeless, allowing you to have a lower pressure and gain a bit of traction when you need it most. SO we recommend pressures of Tubeless; 40-50psi and Tubed; 50-60psi to start
Does this bike come with a power meter?
No, but is compatible with most on the market
Does this bike come with electronic shifting?
This model does not come with electronic shifting to keep value in mind. But it is of-course possible to upgrade in the future if you'd like your bike to stand out from the crowd.
Can I use this bike for triathlons?
One of the great things about the triathlon scene is that you can almost ride on any type of bike if you'd like. So yes, this bike will easily be able to do a triathlon.
Can I fit triathlon aero bars to the handlebars?
Yes, in the gravel scene there is a new trend of offering different positions on the front end to rest your weight; if you get a set of clip-on bars you're away!
Can I set this bike on the trainer?
Yes, you may need some through-axle specific spacers though.
Can I fit mudguards or a rear rack to this bike?
Yes, there's more than enough space to run a full size fender set, although take care with your tyre size to maintain clearance for mud shedding.
Does this bike come equipped with front and rear lights?
No, lights must be purchased separately.
