At BikesOnline, we strive to ensure that your delivery experience is as smooth and efficient as possible. To help you understand our policies regarding redelivery and remote postcode fees, we’ve compiled the following information.
Signature Requirement
We require a signature for all our deliveries to ensure that your goods are safely received. This is why we prefer deliveries to commercial addresses, where someone is typically present throughout the day to accept the package. If you would like to have your order delivered to a different address, such as a neighbor's or your workplace, you can easily do so during the checkout process. Just enter the alternate delivery address in the designated field when prompted.
Redelivery Fees
While we can deliver to both residential and commercial addresses, we strongly recommend using a commercial address to avoid any delivery issues. If no one is available to accept the goods at the time of delivery, a redelivery fee of $50 will be charged. This fee covers the cost of sending the delivery out again, as we cannot specify a particular time for delivery.
Remote Postcode Areas
For customers in remote postcode areas, please note that shipping fees for bikes and other bulky goods start at $29. To determine whether your postcode incurs a surcharge, simply enter your postcode into the shipping calculator available in your shopping cart or on the product page for bikes.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a consignment number via email. This number can be used to track your parcel's journey, allowing you to stay updated on its status.
