BikesOnline Warranty Policy for Superior Bikes
BikesOnline Warranty Policy for Superior Bikes
At BikesOnline, we take pride in offering an exceptional warranty experience that exceeds industry standards. As a unique Australian retailer of Superior bikes, we recognize the importance of delivering high-quality products alongside unparalleled customer support.
Warranty Overview
Superior bikes come with a complimentary extended warranty of 5 years upon registration for frames. However, BikesOnline enhances this offering by providing a 5-year warranty specifically for the original purchaser. Our warranty process is designed to be hassle-free; we do not require annual inspections by authorized dealers to maintain warranty validity. To initiate a warranty claim, simply provide proof of purchase, pictures of the defect, and the serial number. This straightforward approach ensures that our customers can easily access support when they need it.
Limited Warranty Coverage
BikesOnline warrants each new Superior frame and rigid fork against defects in materials and workmanship for the duration of ownership by the original purchaser. Additionally, components and parts are covered by their respective manufacturers against defects in materials and workmanship for their designated periods from the date of purchase, excluding normal wear and tear items.
## Warranty Exclusions
It’s important to note that our warranty does not cover damage resulting from normal wear and tear, improper assembly, maintenance, misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, improper repairs, modifications, or any use contrary to the product's intended purpose.
Warranty Claim Process
To initiate a warranty claim, the original purchaser must provide proof of purchase and contact BikesOnline. Both BikesOnline and the respective manufacturers reserve the right to inspect the product to determine the cause of the issue and whether it falls under warranty coverage. If the issue is covered, the manufacturer will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective part or component.
Limitation of Liability
BikesOnline is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the sale or use of its products. The sole remedy for any warranty breach is the repair or replacement of the defective product.
Non-Transferable Warranty
This warranty is non-transferable and applies exclusively to the original purchaser of the product.
Modification of Warranty Terms
BikesOnline reserves the right to modify or discontinue its warranty policies at any time without prior notice.
Australian Consumer Law
Our warranty policy does not attempt to modify or exclude conditions, warranties, and legal rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Any warranties or conditions not guaranteed by the Australian Consumer Law are expressly excluded where permitted.
Crash Replacement Coverage
Understanding that accidents can happen, BikesOnline offers a Crash Replacement Policy that provides a discount for the first owner of a BikesOnline bicycle in the event of non-warranty damage from a crash. Availability of replacement stock is subject to inventory levels, and if stock is unavailable, we reserve the right to provide a suitable alternative or adjust the discount accordingly. Please note that we may modify or terminate this Crash Replacement Policy at any time without prior notice.
